Planned Renovations

While a major benefit to this property is that the facility is move-in ready and could be immediately used without any changes, some minor renovations are planned. The plan for the first floor is to remove two walls that currently form an existing conference room in order to open up the space into a larger multipurpose space with a flexible room setup. This enlarged space on the first floor would serve as the main sanctuary with an assembly seating capacity of up to 100 people seated comfortably and could be easily re-arranged into a banquet style setup to facilitate fellowship meals. At the same time, an additional bathroom and enclosed kitchen would be added. As for the second floor, the two existing offices would be utilized for the pastor’s office and a classroom. The second floor’s generous amount of multipurpose space already allows for a flexible room setup which could be utilized for various ministry uses including additional classroom space, fellowship area, and as a large conference room.

  • September, 2021: Projected Date of Approval of the CUP and Complete Purchase Transaction of the Property
  • October, 2021: Minor Renovations and Furnishing of the Facility
  • November, 2021: Begin Holding Worship Services

CURRENT STATUS: The Application for a Conditional Use Permit has been submitted and is under initial review by the City of Petaluma.
