2012 Events in Review

It’s official. This blog of church events was not kept up to date in 2012. Here’s a chance to remedy that by posting some highlights from church events this last year.

Sweetheart’s Dinner
This year’s dinner was held on February 11, 2012 at Mary’s Pizza Shack in Novato. Thanks to those who helped organize and especially to those who watched the children so the couples could have this special night. This year we reflected on Proverbs 5 and “Rejoicing in the Wife of your Youth”.

Good Friday Service
The annual Good Friday Service was held on April 6, 2012. We considered Jesus’ words “Father, Forgive Them for They Know Not What They Do” from Luke 23:26-49.

Easter Service
On April 8, 2012, we especially celebrated the resurrection of Christ during the morning worship service, reflecting on Luke 24 in a sermon titled “Slow of Heart to Believe”.

Annual Church Outreach BBQ
The annual outreach BBQ and open house was held on July 15, 2012. We were blessed again this year to have several visitors and an overall good time of fellowship. We thank the Lord for all the labor involved by the saints to make this event happen this and every year! Pictures online here:

Beach Fellowship
We had fun and a little sun again this year at Dillon Beach on September 16, 2012 after the morning worship service, enjoying God’s creation and sharing an informal lunch together. Pictures online here:

Gingerbread House Decorating
On December 16, 2012, after the morning worship service, we had some “sweet” time of fellowship. Pictures online here:

Christmas Services
On December 23, 2012 we held our annual Christmas Sunday worship service reflecting on Isaiah 9, “For Unto Us a Child is Born.” Our Christmas Eve Service was held again at Atria Tam Creek Retirement Community, followed by a fellowship meal at one of our member’s homes.
