He Who Has Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear

He who has ears to hear, let him hear!  Why did Jesus teach in parables?  Was to veil or unveil truth?  This sermon discusses Christ’s purpose in parables and challenges us all to seek out the meaning in these parables and to apply them to our lives!  This passage also calls us to see God’s hand at work in intervening in our lives and giving us eyes to see and ears to hear his Word.

Passage: Mark 4:1-34
Author: Rev. W. Reid Hankins, M.Div.
Sermon originally preached during the Morning Service at Trinity Presbyterian Church (OPC) on 04/20/2008 in Novato, CA.
Other Scripture Readings: Isaiah 6; 2 Corinthians 4:1-6
